If you ask Joe Zamborsky what makes a project successful, he won’t start by listing specs or timelines. He’ll talk about trust. As Project Executive at WPS, Joe focuses on client relationships — making sure needs are met, expectations are clear, and everyone walks away happy.
“We’re the only contractor on site with a master service agreement at Princeton,” Joe says. “That took a long time to build — it’s all through relationships. They trust me, and I trust them.”
Projects Joe is Proud Of
- Princeton Chapel: Installed a major audio system while preserving historic architecture.
- Historic Lecture Hall Video Wall: The first large video wall at Princeton, completed during the pandemic in one of the school’s oldest classrooms.
- Durham Bulls Athletic Park: Stadium-wide speaker system, complex rigging, fiber runs, and system integration for game-day impact.

From the Stage to the Boardroom
Joe’s career began in live sound engineering in the ’80s, touring with the RCA Records band Aviator and mixing monitors for artists from Nirvana to Devo at the legendary City Gardens in Trenton. Today, he still runs sound for friends’ bands — a passion that keeps him connected to his roots.
Outside of Work
When he’s not leading projects, Joe can be found on the golf course or listening to Steely Dan, The Smiths, or the Grateful Dead.
“The best part of my job,” Joe says, “is the mystery — walking into something new, taking it all in, and figuring out the solution. That’s the fun part.”
